Professor O'Connor is Vice President of the Australian College of Legal Medicine.
He provides expert opinions on a variety of obstetric and gynaecological issues including: cerebral palsy, shoulder dystocia & Erb's palsy, uterine rupture; postpartum haemorrhage; Asherman's syndrome; stillbirths; neonatal deaths, Hypoxic Ischaemic Encephalopathy, issues of inadequate fetal monitoring antenatally and in labour; third and fourth degree perineal tears; damage to the urinary tract and gastrointestinal injuries during laparoscopic and open gynaecological surgery, failed female sterilisations; issues regarding prolapse including insertion of mesh & female incontinence surgery.
Professor O'Connor also provides expert opinion on criminal matters including adult sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse.
